I also use the head along with the 055XPROB tripod from Manfrotto. Overall, the combination produces a very stable construction that allows me optimal settings for my product photography; However, I use the combination or the head exclusively for the studio recordings. (That thing weighs tidy and also it is pack-technically somewhat unwieldy.)

The head can be precisely adjusted and remains in the set position without additional fixation. A rapid adjustment is also available; for the operation, however, is (in my opinion) a little too much force is required.
