I bought the AP to increase the wireless speed at 300 Mbit / s. Router is a FritzBox 7170, the network is still a smart switch for wired connections. A short time I also had a repeater from TP-Link (WA850RE) in use, but made for the same reasons from the mains again. After exactly 3 weeks of operation, I can only say that the device is really good for nothing. All devices - regardless of operating system or manufacturer - have permanent disconnections. While it was the Apple devices (iPhone, iPad) initially bearable, notebooks (Lenovo, Sony) with Windows 8 may have not even connect by entering a password. Only with the WPS initial connection was possible after but constantly "Limited Network Connection" without an Internet connection. Remedy only constant reboots the access point. Interestingly, an older laptop with Windows 7 was reasonably stable in the WLAN for it works with Apple devices no longer now. And constant rebooting is not a solution. The low price does not justify the amount of time and trouble in daily operation. I build this thing again and send it back.
