I must mention that I had already some electric razors. First the Philishave Cool Skin, which I loved, and who also has not let me down. But after eight years, I wanted to go out to get a new razor and thought, before I invest the money in new shaving heads, then I get the same a new razor. My wife gave me then a Braun Series 3, this was about two years ago. I would have him better again to bring it back. He shaved worse than my old Philips razor. I thought it might be even better, but I was wrong. After 1 1/2 years of the trimmer from falling. Then I bought me a cheap razor, but this was also not great. So I shaved almost exclusively wet.
Now the Philips PT920 / 18th centuries.
I grabbed him and I liked him right away. He looks good, is light and fits well in the hand. Previously, I've invited him quickly, which indeed takes only one hour. When I anschaltete him struck me immediately to the He is a lot quieter than my Braun.
Now I began to shave and what can I say: There are worlds between the two razors. Although my beard was already quite long, he has done it without problems. No drag and chirp like my old razors. The shaving heads adapt very well to the contours of the face, even on the neck and chin, there are no more problems. Another plus is that it works very thoroughly and very quickly, I think the time has almost halved. The battery lasts very long. I use it for a week now and he still has full power.
After every shave with my "old" razor burn and itching skin, the next day I sometimes could not shave because the skin was so very irritated. Now this is all history, I shaved every day and it was just great. I would highly recommend the razor :-) only continue, particularly with the problems with irritated skin.
After shaving can the shaver under running water to keep clean around him.
I did not think that there are such differences in the two major manufacturers of electric shavers. For me, Philips has clearly ahead.
