Phone prima - Battery crap!

Many comments submitted by New owners who have just unpacked your phone and are more or less enthusiastic. Here's what to durability:
We own our Fritz! Fon MT-D for over two years and have now worn the third original battery.
And despite regulatory use, store in the original charging dock (where else?) And in no way abnormal - although intensive - using the phone. The battery life was each six months +/-.
We are not alone - several other comments made by "something-longer-owners" also complain about this problem.

At first we exchanged the complete phone including accessories with AVM to -. Went twice good, although we received comments from (easily accessible and mostly competent) AVM service, which indicated that it is considered for AVM normal that a Phone battery is broken after 6 to 8 months - we should AVM replacement battery buy (is a bit expensive in the long run, we find).

We now use a (identical) battery from the supplier market, which costs much less and seem to be identical.

It is probably so that you at AVM regulating the charging electronics so completely under control did not, alternatively the charge status monitoring Telephone - known the NiMH batteries used are very sensitive to overcharging and deep discharge - both could be avoided by intelligent hardware and software (it works with other devices as well). It lacks the Fritz! Fon obvious.
Unfortunately, the many software updates have brought nothing, we'll have to put up with us having to replace batteries hälbjährlich.

Why all this, that is why we have the thing does not already "disposed of"?
Well, on the phone is fine - it does great with our zusammn Fritz Box, and also the sound is ok!. Also we have not given up hope that AVM it could just manage to modify the software so that the charge / discharge monitoring works and experience the batteries at least once their first birthday.
In conclusion, two points for the good features of the part, the missing three points go to the account of poor battery performance.
