I know it costs a lot. I therefore think it is too much, but you do not have many options around for a cordless vacuum cleaner. I bought this Mainly to keep it next to my table and clean around it easily. I did a lot of research and for the vacuum cleaners there are only three names Which Should be taken into consideration. First it is the Dyson, the athlete and the Bosch So Hoover. I did not test in the areas Hoover Because I've lived it's not a very common brand. I first started with the Bosch 24V athlete, the cheaper option. It worked fine for what we needed, did not have too much power but it was enough for what we did. Te battery lasts quite a long time on power level 2 Which is the lowest one usable. Level 1 is simply not suitable for any job. The bad parts. Being a flor type you can only use it on the floor, it is more versatile Dyson, you can do anything with it. Bosch had a better motorized brush than the Dyson. Cleaning the Bosch athlete what not very easy. It has a very small container where dirt is collected and opening everything is not very elegant. Bosch has a design flaw, if For Example you vacuum a dry leaf this did not make it till the bottom of the cylinder dirt and the dirt combined wit this leaf but it did not go till the bottom. The result Was that the dust passed into the filter directly. This is simply not acceptable. Dyson on the other hand has no such issues and the filter is clean quiet after two weeks of usage.Emptying the Dyson is easy, not that clean like they like to promote in Their Marketing. Dyson really has a lot of power, normal speed is enough for most of the work in the house but turbo is like a corded vacuum, really powerful. The dock for Dyson is very convenient, it will charge for as long it will need and then stop. Bosch on the other hand what not that easy to charge, it takes quite some space and it has to sit on the floor. Dyson will work exactly as advertised, 16 minutes on normal speed with motorized brush. One thing I noticed, the motorized brush on all Dyson's will stop on a carpet with long hair, Compared To Bosch Which didnt. Overall I think it did Dyson V6 is an expensive but very good product.
