Although there are a variety of cheaper players, which even many more features offer (Amazon Video, max cathedrals, Netflix, etc.) I have decided because of the positive reviews for the Yamaha BDS477. The main criterion was a low drive for me - unfortunately was here massively disappointed. Compared to my old LG BD390 player that Yamaha is really a "noisemakers", which produces with the loudest sound in my living room. He clearly seems to be relatively quieter than a PS3 or a cheaper 30 players, but for this price I expect just a little different, especially since my old LG is absolutely inaudible! The device went sadly back directly. Maybe a few more things to Quality: me is the part in the 2 days I had it available at home, completely crashed 1 times in the menu. The firmware update through the native update option has about 1 hour used (including downloads via a 14Mbit line.) - In my view quite inaktzeptabel. Picture and sound on the other hand were really terrific and have really enjoyed, has at the end but not meant to keep it.
