I do not use many words - the printer does what he should do. It prints very quickly and in very good quality. What concerns the speed (40 p / min.), So the number of pages for duplex printing is a bit "in the knee" - after all, about 10 sheets printed on both sides (ie 20 p), m. E. still a very good performance. So far everything in the usual HP quality - my last HP laser printer I used 14 years without any complaints, so came just one HP device into question for me. Up to this point, the device would have earned 5 stars !!!! BUT: The unit is very noisy in operation! To use in a small office space, shared by several people, the device is not usable in my opinion. Here an external printer location is recommended in an adjacent room, as the noise level during the printing process is really disturbing. Since I privately use the printer and the noise level during printing due to the high printing speed, only takes a few minutes, the condition is just about acceptable. In standby mode, the printer is, however, very quiet. I had, despite the otherwise very good performance (which I would like to emphasize!), Briefly considered, return the device. Why not HP eliminates such weaknesses is beyond me. My 14 year old HP laser jet was much quieter in operation. As far as my experience and a mixed Conclusion: Due to recommend.
29.03.2013 - Addition: Due to the possibility of switching to the silent mode (Tip of another user - see below) - now after a year of "Barney printing" subsequently one point more. However, it is absolutely incomprehensible why HP not already operating another setting or at least pointing to this possibility, because it is tucked away and you (as Joe Public) just happened to not trip over them. To what extent, this slows the printing speed, I can not say at present - I'm just happy that the printer now works significantly quieter !!!! Thanks for this tip!
