I would like to give more stars, because this little thing is very amazing. But unfortunately, the projector is not to make light enough in the long run really fun. The Rollei Innocube advertises communication with smartphones and laptops and is due to the size ideal for presentations on the road, such as a fun movie night in the garden, but if it is not just a presentation with strong contrasts on a light background and to any professional screen is not available, there are problems. And most films are not just cool illuminated brightly. For Beamer a minimum of 100 lumens / m² is recommended. The Rollei Innocube according to the manufacturer information with only 35 lumens well below the recommendation. Through this serious shortcoming is the advantage that the size of the device provides, unfortunately, made almost entirely meaningless. What helps me the flexibility to transport when the image but is bearable only under perfect circumstances. From the lack of fun with tired eyes apart. I expect there is nothing impossible, since other devices offer quite more power in this price segment.
The idea, however, is great. The device itself looks great, neither cheap nor like a toy. The housing is robust and the rubber edges are both protective and non-slip. The microUSB port is now called Standard, but but I want to mention anyway. Besides charging cable equipment includes an HDMI cable and a cable for smartphone / tablet / laptop etc. (MHL) and a 5 to 11 pin adapter. Unfortunately my smartphone seems (LG Optimus L5 II) deliver an Video Out signal. With the laptop but it works right away.
There is a dial on the side of the projector to the Sharpness setting, unfortunately there is not an angle, a correction possibility for the keystone distortion in a tilted device. Ideally, the projector is parallel to desired height.
For a toy with Wow effect of Rollei Innocube IC200T Pico Projector is then but still too expensive and for real fun Beamer it quite unfortunately not quite from. Too bad.
