Pity!

About the musical quality of Queen does not have to argue with it, which was just awesome.
But what you may disagree entirely, is the mass of BEST OF REMASTERED editions and that appeared in the music market after the death of Freddie Mercury. These more or less successful remixes that half decent sequel with Paul Rogers (of course again with CD and DVD). Various guest singer in recent years, apparently it pushes Roger Taylor and Brian May again on stage.
Only John Deacon, who has actually done it right: Gone is gone, quitting before the sour taste of the commercial exploitation arises. (Ok, according to rumors, he was depressed before in 1991 and had therefore simply no longer wanted.)

And then the announcement (for 3 years already, which the nerves of Queen fans pretty overused), there are common images of Mercury and Jackson, it is working on ancient fragments, there bahne probably still an album to.
Waiting is so popular, always small appetizers to information, it could soon be ready, it had been agreed on the rights, standing in the studio and so on.
And then finally appeared on the track list and you wonder something: Where are the proposed new (old) title, apparently there is only one. On the radio then excerpts from the Mercury-Jackson duet, does not sound intoxicating, well, maybe it sounds like a completely different.

Now the album is there and actually disappointing. The songs are of course super, it has even now not yet been changed, except, yes to the so much heralded duet. This falls far short of expectations, the song's already been published separately with Queen, and now with the pasted-Jackson deposits no real music sensation. Sounds to me somehow cobbled together and verschlimmbessert. Schade, was probably nothing with the music sensation. Just one not previously published song, where are they remained that supposedly numerous previously unheard recordings with Freddie?
The dive then but to the evil suspicion that one again will wash a little money in the coffers, May, Taylor and Jackson clan have it really that necessary?

Conclusion: Actually dispensable for the fan who already possesses all the individual albums and the duet and the "new" song could also download of a music portal. Only the claim of the completeness of the collection published by the original band albums could tempt one to purchase.
I for one am disappointed. That is why two star deduction.
