This cafetiere is indeed cheap, but unfortunately not good. The nut that connects the filter to the rod is made of plastic and turns very quickly, thus making unusable the whole thing. That's what happened with me after a week. Core parts should be easily made from steel so they last, not plastic. Do not buy.
