looking for a compact system I ordered three systems to choose from:
Sharp XL DH 320 NH Kompaktanlage
Philips DCM 278 compact system
and give the JVC UX-LP 5 Kompaktanlage
The investment should mainly serve to play audio books and for occasional listening to the radio.
Quality sound experiences I have so do not expect.
Equal first, the plant ended up with my little compared to the 2nd place.
Negative at this facility I noticed mainly 4 points to:
The sound can be, at best, with "natural" mean. In other words: the music is quite clearly reproduced. However, I miss both the presence of the treble and the bass (although the volume of the boxes on longer lets hope).
The system is plug ugly. Behind the actually send plexiglass cover there are 2 meaningless blue illuminated plastic stairs. The lights can be turned off, fortunately, still is massive wasted space at the front.
The complex has a (self-measured) Standby consumption by nearly 5 watts.
MP3 tracks on a USB drive are played in random order, so that is playing audiobooks impossible (this problem have all three tested systems).
However, there were some details that stood out very positively:
This plant was the only one Show mp3 tags (title / artist display with WMA / MP3 format).
The display is clearly legible from any position and can be dimmed.
The remote control is reduced to the necessary functions and clearly arranged.
Conclusion:
For the money, other manufacturers offer more. The standby power consumption is no longer appropriate and not acceptable.
PS: In my bedroom now is the Philips plant
