A new genre is popular for ever broader basis. After Xavier Naidoo and Ayman Al-Deen now comes and brings us the German Soul (or German RnB what Ayman always stressed). His single "Pictures of You" for months was already on the radio up and down and made appetite for the complete album. This is due now and the eleven songs surprise you with clear, unambiguous and in some cases very poetic lyrics. In phrasing the Mannheim with his voice surprisingly accurately and forcefully. Musically, he moves with his producer Ralf Hildenbeutel, Stevie B-Zet and AC Boutsen in catchy climes between soul, pop and electronic, without being able to really put the big highlights. But a nice, transparent and all around enjoyable CD is more than you get from many others. Therefore: Thumbs ten clock.
