Pleasantly surprised in the end. I was apprehensive before starting this Volume 2 because I was very disappointed with volume 1. In fact, after reading the first, if I do not already had the second in my possession I certainly would not have had to continue with more ... and finally it was a shame becuase I left to take game story. Indeed, this novel has a very addictive one side and the pages turn without realizing it. The characters (primary and secondary) appeared to me much more endearing with their weaknesses and despite their faults. The romance between Holly and Duncan took a larger place in history and a lot of alchemy is perceived in their relationship with more electric sexual attraction and a palpable desire. Their couple can show as much passion qu'émouvant with a bit of eroticism and tender moments. Police investigations gives a little excitement and action to history. Yet, as in the first, there is always a lot of inconsistencies that serves the story: -do if only the behavior still immature characters: Adult settled in life with varying positions of responsibility and risk professions (cops) who play "Truth or Dare" and the game " bottle that turns "... seriously !!! although I admit that it must decompress and their childish reactions has a funny side though ... it's not very credible ... Unless the atypical behavior of the characters are only there for swing-against the blackness of their profession and their investigations into the abduction / rape / child murders in this case ... it changes everything ... because it Clearly, their eccentricities lighten the mood and brings a good dose of humor to the story. Finally I have absolutely no regrets continued this series (I also intend to continue with Volume 3) and I recommend to readers who were disappointed with the first volume of the second try anyway because they just might change your mind and maybe even leave also result in history (as was my case).
