Yes - now I can actually say that this is an extremely successful work of the guys that has stylistically not too much to do at first sight with the previous albums.
However, one penetrates a little deeper into the matter one, you will notice similar song structures as in past times, up only slightly pimped by zeitgeist just rhythm foundation and synthetic accompaniment.
Bill's voice is in my opinion also here unmistakable and again become better. In some reviews of the album the band was accused of working here with autotune!?! Yes - what else?
These reviewers should me please even call artists nowadays dispense entirely with this tool. You will not find!

For me it has always been in the last 40 years so that an album that to me becomes apparent only after repeated listening, then one of my favorites. "Kings of Suburbia" has what it takes to be seamlessly classified in this list.
