Warning, this book does not explain the relationship between aperture, shutter speed and sensor sensitivity. But for the author describes in a very personal way his "program" how to evolve from a photo enthusiasts to a photographer. And that involves a lot of self-knowledge, self-criticism and serious work per se. Seen in this is a workbook beyond the "golden ratio" or "Slow shutter speed to blur movement" guide and will certainly not appeal to everyone. But just when the (quite useful!) Has books in the first category behind and is still not satisfied with himself (or just tried to overcome a creative dry spell), is Simon's 10-point program, a good companion, who moreover legibly written and interesting picture series (from the journalistic practice) is illustrated. One star deduction is only because it is just a book to work on themselves, and thus neither so amusing, such as the books by Joe McNally still so beautiful layouted as the books of Michael Freeman.
