My approach:
Search correct drivers and save locally.
Mechanical conversion (without any problems).
Install drivers, enable 40MHz, finished.
Whoever wants to can play on the driver installation, additional software with Intel. I left them off.
First Impression:
I can see the map on and off as usual via the function keys. Now to the TP-Link TL-WDR4300 I 240-300Mbit / s to 2.4 GHz (previously slightly worse) and 5GHz even up to 450 (previously getting worse rather than on 2.4 GHz and also relatively fragile). At 5GHz, I can now for the first time connect deeply decent at the floor. The new map and / or the third antenna produce a significant improvement.
Practice impression:
In the first week I have appointed pushed 50GB files on my NAS. Runs noticeably faster and reliable. No computer crash or disconnect.
For my expectations 5 Stars. I could deduct a half to a full account of the complexity of the Intel driver side, but I am with the final result too happy ;-)
