Am very satisfied with the adapter. But only after I was able to remove the solution from previous reviews.

The connection with an HDMI cable of one meter length between the digital cable receiver and an Acer projector worked immediately and I was thrilled. However, the consequent need to install a 5-meter HDMI cable supplied no signal. May be that the adapter via a Micro USB jack powered by a 5 volt external power source lacks easily in the product description. Demand installation with an appropriate power supply 220V / 5V 1200mA brought the desired result.

So even though pure plug-and-play is tempting and probably many devices so get on well, I would operate the adapter with additional power supply via USB. I subtract a star because the claim "no external power supply required" not wrong (one can easily draw the necessary power from most USB ports), but not exactly complete. Otherwise, a strong buy recommendation for anyone who knows what he's doing.
