I bought this product to give the "right" to a wifi Western Digital WD TV Live box.
Without even connected the WD TV Live to my way cable router, I connected this truly miniature wireless key.
To my surprise, this has directly worked. I do not even have to insert the CD into the computer.
Result: a maximum of operation for no cables and no additional software on the computer.
The network is secured with WPA; 2 minutes configuration on the WD TV Live and the case was closed.
The speed is excellent; I can even watch movies stored on an external hard drive that is connected to the computer, itself connected to the network cable way.
Only small problem: the WD box takes about 1 minute to connect to the network when I turn it on. But perhaps it is also the case in wired ...
