It was in other Rezesionen already criticized that affects the book too shallow and the author, the story almost without emotion simply writes down, compared to without Anschuldiung and / or conviction of the parents. In my opinion, it is so to see that the author has made peace, has also assumed with their past and this in order to put it away and to be able to look to the future positively. I find this admirable and very important for everything else in life. I like it, although sometimes it is not understood that there is never a bad Anschuldiung or condemnation, because you realize that it is not a settlement with her childhood and past for the author, but an impressive and very clear story of their family history.
The English is well understood.
It's definitely a book that is true and lasting effect something thoughtful.
