The sound is not as good as his rival Bose, but it's really lightweight and more portable.
I think it has against by a small "space" effect that makes the sound more now, but tends to resonate and to disturb me.
So, I recommend it for its price (50 euros when I bought it).
But if I have the choice between Bose and JBL, no picture: I take the bose sound that much more precise and enjoyable.
