I use this adapter to operate a wireless card in my 5 year old laptop. The adapter read plugged together easily, after that it was only the WLAN antennas to be attached to the WLAN card, which were of course designed for a longer card. However, so far everything fits.
I would recommend this product without restrictions. The adapter does what he is!
