Power supply scrap

I own this product 2 times at home. After a short time, the power supply was first blown, a few days later in another the case. I then made my fun times and opened the defective power supply unit using a screwdriver and a hammer. When I then saw the thin little wires on the 230 volt side, I was glad that the whole is not burned. Wires were about as strong as a bell cord.
I have now bought a new power supply and since it runs at least good.
