For a few weeks I have the DS415 + with date 3 WD Red 6TB plates as SHR (Synology Hybrid RAID, here similar to RAID5 but flexible expandable) in use. For the ways you can certainly where they do not exist many reviews are based on the opinions of older Synology NAS as well as test reports. This device is based on an Intel platform and is highly efficient. The data transfer is limited to me only through the 1Gb interface. The 2nd NIC, however, would also support Link Aggregation, if someone still should need more performance. The device worked for the screwless installation of panels quite simple through the browser. The initialization of the RAIDs went relatively quickly, I mean that was about half a day. The update on DSM 5.1 verleif today without any problems. The integrated package managers and other sources, there are many flexible ways, but for most lacked the time to date.
