My verdict:
1. the form:
This comprehensive book (over 500 pages), although in English, but readable and understandable, especially since you know the context, yes. Sure it takes a little longer, but the style of writing is pleasant and typically American. Somewhat exaggerated in form and partially redundant, but still better than the classic textbook-like versions of German authors. Very nice large and readable typeface, big pictures.
2. to content:
the man knows vovon he speaks that one believes him. He explains relationships understood and responded to the reasons why it is so and what the developers of Nikon have been thinking.
Conclusion:
An absolutely recommendable book for this price a bargain wares. At last I know what the camera really can and I'm pretty sure exploit only 10% of the possibilities.
