First of all the reason of purchase:
Actually, an MP3 player would have been completely unnecessary, since I bought the phone 'Samsung U900 Soul' me a few months ago with an 8GB memory card and the device has a very good built-in media player and can also play many formats.
I also needed no MP3 player on the go, since I had my phone eh Wore it.
So why the Sansa Clip?
Because I'm a fan of audio books (novels as horror / mystery / thriller) and a subscription to Audible have, this own Audible format "* .aa" can not play my phone and it was too cumbersome, before the files to CDs to burn and then convert them to MP3. Thus quite 2x 1GB MP3 (depending on the setting) and there will be times when a longer audiobook from previously 2x 80MB sometimes requires more than 20 blanks for longer books, but what was not a problem for me as I take a virtual CD / DVD burners have and therefore needed no blanks. But it was cumbersome and took a lot of time.
The Sansa Clip, however, can play all Audible formats (2, 3 and 4) and I can always continue to listen to the point where I have stopped previously. Just practice and before alem time saving.

But the first appearances are deceptive so often, after I had familiarized myself with the functions, I downloaded an MP3 album from Musicload to the device, it was a solo album by Bela B. Soon, however, I found the functions of the equalizer, set to "Rock" and the sound was much better. After that I "Custom" is selected and set the sound quality itself. With the Sennheiser now I can not hear any difference to my stereo system or mobile phone, which I own for the latter a headphone adapter more.
The songs are, if they are tagged properly divided into albums, genres, artists, songs, playlists and favorites. Playlists of course you have to create yourself, eg using the Windows Media Player.
The recording function is not necessarily good, but I also do not need. Likewise, the integrated radio, sound very good, but very weak reception. But I need not also.
A power supply / charger is not supplied, but what I was already well aware of previously. It can be on the PC to charge via the USB port or to additionally buy a charger, which I also ordered the same and that the "Artwizz PowerPlug Outlet USB Charger", so I do not always turn on the PC only if I want fast charging times or is empty during the hearing of the battery.
Included is however except the earphones and a CD with a PDF manual nor a USB cable, this was the only thing I was annoyed that it is extremely short. Coarse measured the cable is about 23 centimeters long (plug included in the calculation). Although I have a USB extension cable, but this will not work with USB 2.0. So here you should consider whether you ordered a USB extension cable. Had I known, I would have done it.
