The heat transfer of the pot is super, the handles do not get hot (no potholder required!) And the mechanism for holding the lid when pouring off the cooking water works perfectly. The item description can I find a bit misleading: The lid is loose and is - no matter how it is rotated - locked exclusively by the folding of the handles when it is poured. That works fine, you just have to make it just that the holes in the lid INTERIM are the handles and not above ;-).
Another advantage is that the water boils over not so fast through the holes in the cover and that you know it BEFORE the hotplate is flooded with salt water. The pot can be easily cleaned (still looks like new) and the coating is good enough so that not festpappt after pouring off the water content. I usually cook only half a pack (250 grams) noodles, it is the capacity more than sufficient. An entire packet goes to the emergency (with intermediate water refilling) and, for larger quantities pasta or potatoes, I would perhaps look for a larger model.
Absolute buy recommendation!
