Therefore, I find it surprisingly pleasant that the Samsung camera is large, stable and well in the hand. She looks great in white, and has a non-slip, matte surface. The best thing however is the large display. It impresses with a clear brilliance and vibrant colors. The touch screen works perfectly.
The operation of the camera can only be done via the display and is completely intuitive. For our needs, the quality of images is absolutely sufficient. Even after 21fachem zoom the image is crystal clear. However, the camera needs to be already able to keep very quiet. All settings such as aperture, etc. can also be performed manually. However, I do not have enough idea about the shooting to the need.
We use the Samsung Camera 2 also to record short videos of the children. However, these are then no longer than two minutes, so that the files do not become too large. The zoom during the video shoot is a bit shaky and the image often briefly blurred.
Some of the photo features are unnecessary and some very useful. The Children mode is found after thorough testing for good. If from the camera sound funny sounds (and also not the same consecutively) and then 5 pictures are shot in rapid succession, is usually at least a good while. And I have great pictures taken by my son on the trampoline in the middle of the movement, crystal clear and beautiful. My cooking creations look more colorful and appetizing from the food mode. Also photos of sunsets are great. However, my favorite feature is the Best face- mode.
I could complain about at most, that the auto focus sometimes does not work well. He then has a problem with that, to recognize a face and focus. And when I held the camera once in landscape mode on a lake surrounded by forest under a blue sky, commented that the camera as follows: It must be green or sky in the image are located so that they can make a landscape. Ah yes. More I have not to complain and that's my opinion, already at very high levels.
Now this camera is not just a device for photographing but also has with an Android operating system also countless other functions. I must confess that I only use it Dropbox. Useful as it is, of course, that there is to the camera with 50GB Dropbox for free. I manage on my Samsung folder and the images over the wireless network directly charging high. So I need basically not even a memory card, unless I'm on the road and want to send several hundred photos. The other features I do not need. However, it slowly seems to be a problem that the rather large photos (4MB) are seamlessly forwarded to a smartphone, for example. This can clog up any memory in a very short time.
For absolute professionals, the camera is probably not suitable, but young people who are happy and networked everywhere are well know to appreciate this combination of camera and smartphone. Me have the pictures and features anyway confident and I can gladly forgive the slight blemish device.
