Due to the liquid galinstan I suspect that the measuring column is now more difficult to shake down than traditional analog thermometers. Meanwhile, after more than 10 cycles daily measuring and shaking it has become for me the big effort to shake the column below 36 degrees. With my whole body and more than 20 times will shake at a time (as it says in the manual) I notice it in my wrists, it does not get them and they are sensitive. The column slips less and less to its original position.
This big problem for me I am very disappointed. Finally, I have paid for the device a premium price, which should justify more than 10 cycles perseverance and loyalty.
This is very important and problematic for me reason but also because it measures very precise and reliable principle, I rate the thermometer with three stars.
