To me / background:
I already had the previous model this Phillips Schneiders. Therefore, quasi double experience.
The design is very impressive and the cutting blades sharp enough in itself. That's why I was initially quite impressed by the predecessor device. The thing then get my Daddy and I have worried this successor.
The following disadvantages are noticed over time:
# 1: The fixings for the blade attachment are fragile / is fast wearing plastic parts.
The more often you the part (right) cleans, the greater the risk that the article no longer engages. The nearly identical previous model is thus broke down - fortunately still under warranty.
# 2: The plastic attachment for long hair holds (contrary to other statements here) though quite stable - even when pressure is applied. But in fact the blades are actually too flexible bendable. Thus, a uniform interface can be difficult to manage. What speaks against stable lamellae, like the Remington devices ?!
# 3: Now the successor model came with me even added that the internal battery is apparently broken. Anyway, I can operate the unit only to the mains.
Overall, therefore, the processing is below the tolerance limit - even for this price level. I do not recommend the purchase.
