Yes I am a aficionada tea each day and tea depending on time (morning black tea to wake up - all day: green tea until 16/17 hours - evening: Rooibos; this is ok not really tea but it is caffeine-free and I like the taste)! This teapot enameled cast iron inside keeps its contents warm longer; when tea is over, I carefully cleans A WATER to fully remove deposits in (+ any stains out) and I WILL WELL DRY to prevent rust (sworn enemy of the font). I recall that the enamel on the inside and not on the filter or outside, these parts can rust very quickly: thus, dried, dry (it is quick) !!! So, for now, it is home for ten days and apart from its very perfect aesthetic appearance, it is well maintained ... so I did not retreat possible regarding rust problems. So, ah, yes, last thing AS THEY CONTAIN ALL TEAPOTS LIQUID VERY VERY HOT: CAUTION SO SMALL HANDS !!! For now I RECOMMENDS (and encourages proper maintenance for long life)! THE GOOD (S) is great!
