The bookends look pretty and feel good. The pieces do not fit together really smoothly when you want them up so; here the quality does not seem to be particularly vigilant.
The material is relatively pliable and when heavy books lying diagonally on the supports bend quite aside. This is indeed likely not intentional.
For the price but a pretty gimmick for the local library, which does its job.
