I want to listen to music with a system that I can carry around flexible (in the house, basement, garage, garden, ...). Meanwhile, mainly from the smartphone, but also from an SD card or USB stick. Over the years I've tried a number of wire and later also Bluetooth-bound boxes. The "now-am-I-arrived" feeling I had never, not even when reviewed here Sony device. However, it is clearly one of the best in the now unused devices.
PLUSES:
°°°°°°°°°°°°
+++ AA batteries can be used
(I used Sanyo Eneloop, 2,450 mAh. The first movement is after several days of use, each with several hours still not empty. The mentioned Sony 20 hours could be quite realistic).
++ Sound quality for such a device "relatively good."
Not really satisfying, but it sounds too dull. But may also be because the sources (mostly C128 MP3 tracks) no longer give (for consuming "objective" comparison tests I lack the time and motivation. Perhaps there is an occasional customer who can give more informed feedback for this purpose).
++ Per NFC switched
Nice feature. Man holding the NFC-enabled mobile phone for a few seconds at the point labeled as the speaker. This turns on then himself (!), And if necessary, Bluetooth which you should be when not in use for security and battery saving reasons, yes rather off otherwise. Prerequisite activated on the phone (but is certainly that at least NFC already been activated on the mobile phone is). A touch again on the connection again and Bluetooth on the mobile phone from which, unfortunately, the speaker must be switched off manually.
++ Overall quality design
Is pretty sure to four rubberized feet, battery lid closes cleanly, total appealing impression.
+ Practical Henkel
So you can wear the device around the house well. A larger opening for the hand would be desirable.
+ As a speakerphone for your mobile phone available, built-in micro
Speakerphone quality seems orderly to arrive at the opposite.

Negatives or wishlist:
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
- - Unfortunately, no "forward or rewind" of songs possible
Other devices can sometimes if my desire improvement No.1
- - No Slots for (micro) SD card or USB stick.
Would in my view a valuable improvement, although I suspect that it has no great relevance for most users (and I do like to convince you otherwise).
- - Power supply via outlet passes over a 6V power supply.
Since current mobile devices now 5V USB charging options are standard, that would also wish for this device. Advantage: You can for all devices and use the same power supply. In "proprietary" solutions, one must always be careful that you do not lose the part and has if necessary also really handy. In addition, easy to lose track when many devices need their own power supply.
- - No headphone output
Of course, one might argue that you can plug it directly on the smartphone headset for example, and this does not require the path through an external speaker. Sometimes, however, that would be yet practical.
Would be great if there were a possibility holder for your mobile phone, even if only with some kind of clamp. Then you could carry around cell phone and speaker comfortably together.

All in all, a good device. In particular, the availability of AA batteries makes me also very personable! Here again the quick overview:
