Pretty fast

I was looking for an electric kettle with a nice design as it is intended to remain permanently in my kitchen worktop. I also wanted a device with a good capacity (1.6 liter in this case) and fast because I mainly use it to save time when you have to boil water in the kitchen).

This product perfectly meets my criteria.
The kettle is made of polished stainless steel, as well as the base. It is rather nice (for an electric kettle ...).
It quickly heats (the cold water coming to a boil 1.6l in less than 3 minutes).
In terms of ergonomics, it has 2 interesting advantages:
- Interior lighting and transparent window to see the water during heating. For tea lovers (myself included), it allows to stop the heating when the water is at the right temperature, observing the bubbles ("shrimp eyes", "fish eyes" or "linked beads" according tea).
- 360 base. One can take the kettle and stand in any direction. This is convenient when there are left-handed and right-handed at home.

Nevertheless, everything is not perfect:
- It is noisy because stainless does some sound box.
- The walls are very hot during use. Attention to children.
- Automatic shutdown is a little slow to fire. Water boils at a rolling boil before the kettle stops herself. Until 1.6l, okay, but beyond (it happens to more water than is recommended), you have to be careful if the water overflows.

In short, a very good choice for me
