I bought this product for the absolute emergency, so I do not pay attention, always carry a charged battery. However, I have with my smartphone (2,000 mAh) learned that batteries are not sufficient for charging. Even worse. If the battery level reaches a certain level in the smartphone, the batteries are recharged and discharged the smartphone. In this case the batteries become very hot. Just be aware so when loading stops and then disconnect or insert new batteries the unit.
With large battery (2500 mAh) is no longer the problem exists. For full charge, it still is not enough, batteries such as batteries stay at about 25% charged.
The flashlight is OK: A bright LED for quick orientation.
All in all, a convenient help in time of need. If any applications (walking tour, etc.) but I would not recommend it.
