Fly always with two bags in hand luggage? In one there are digital camera, video camera, PDA ("Personal Digital Assistant"), flashlight, cell phone, smartphone, iPod, MP3 players, GPS navigation devices and the Kindle e-reader. Since each manufacturer proudly cooks his very own, product-specific cordless soup, the second bag is packed with all the battery chargers of this Earth. This logistical technical overkill then the user is sometime quite "loaded".
Good News! The second case, you can now safely leave home, but should limit itself to the Pixo C2 + Universal Charger.
I've ordered this device with reasonable guilty conscience. Finally, everyone knows what happens to conscienceless criminal elements that use third-party chargers. Eternal damnation is guaranteed, that's for the least! The manufacturer of batteries it need to know, after all. Obviously, each battery from a gentle, pacifistic commodity seems to turn into a deadly cluster bomb, as soon as he is deprived of the security of the company's internal charger and to interact with another person's trade. Before buying the universal charger I have therefore still prophylactically increased my life insurance and set up a splinter protection from 10 cm thick lead plates. The battery SWAT team prepares for its first lethal use, Morituri te salutant.
To the Pointe anticipate - yes, I'm still alive! I tested the following batteries: Canon EOS 30 D, 60 D, Sony DSC RX100, Kindle e-reader, the mignons out my flashlight and my stone-age mobile phone (I believe it still has tubes - possibly even bifaces But still no. more listeners!). Each charging worked impeccably.
A flashing green LED indicates "Yes, yes, still take a while!"; Permanent pasture "loaded more than full does not go" and a sulky, non-luminous diode "So no, my friend!". After so glorious passing ordeal the unit has earned an adequate review in good faith.

SAFETY:
To the polarity you do not make a head, the machine detects positive and negative pole automatically, as the battery voltage. A short circuit can therefore even involuntarily not produce asbestos materials and a 50 cm high layer of sand are not mandatory. The load times are, depending on the charge status and capacity of the battery at least one hour, after 11 hours, the unit switches off automatically for safety's sake. Mignos or Micro round cells and lithium-ion batteries can not be charged at the same time, the contacts of the latter are covered thereby. A slight warming of the batteries during charging is normal and no reason to panic, while melting of batteries a panic would be perfectly fine and they should live with relish.
LOADING:
Insertion of Mignon and charging via the USB cable are self-explanatory. A bit tricky, the battery pack from digital cameras. In the middle of the charger are two narrow, plate-like metal contacts. Both the distance between them, as well as the position on the track can be varied as desired. Each battery you need to position this new contacts by using a pin (not with your fingers!) Slide it back and forth until they eventually have optimum contact with the two poles of the battery. The battery pack can both be standing and used as lying and is clamped to the somewhat cumbersome puzzling out the correct position on the top of the charger verschiebare. Caution is advised when the battery pack offer the more than two contacts (eg for Sony DSC-RX100 Cyber-shot digital camera) (See. My review there). All other contacts except the positive and negative poles are off limits, in case of wrong connection, the battery can in the worst case enter into the happy hunting grounds. Since the contacts are labeled but without exception, these intellectual challenge should be to deal with on a good day. The Power lamp is lit steadily red, the green charge indicator flashes when charging begins, and goes into a contented permanent pasture on when charging is completed. If both indicators flash or are half as bright as a dead firefly, is something rotten (wrong battery, no contact, no electricity, Error). In this case just try it again.
CONCLUSION:
The fumbling with the metal contact plate is a bit strange at first, but eventually you have the hang of quickly out. In my previous attempts charging launched each without any problems. The ability to charge batteries while driving via the included adapter to the electric cigarette lighter, I find quite handy. If your camera battery schächelt, you can give him on the way to the next Motive a swig from the bottle of energy. The device is light, handy, and the idea finally abzunabeln of an armada of chargers is something very liberating. All those who have not used a bag with chargers as a dumbbell replacement, will appreciate this comfort very.
Going back to my introduction: Yes, I am now an avowed battery charger used Direction foreign criminals, shame on me! I move exclusively still under cover of dusk and the brutal-harried expression of born criminals burrowing deep in my features. But is really fun, you should try it sometimes! My chargers have already recognized the spirit of the time and pushing anxious whining to each other. Probably a long, dreary exile in a dark drawer will be their fate. May they rest in peace!
