We run this baby monitor with sensor mats already for 6 years. We have this because we serve around the clock baby in duplicate. After 6 years of almost continuous use my résumé falls out clearly. The sensor mats comply to 100% its purpose and so far reacted safely. We have tried them in the crib under the mattress, in a travel cot and even in the stroller. The baby monitor still works the same way as on the first day, namely properly, without failures, without external or internal disturbances. The battery (replaceable) hold for a day, at night, the handset comes in the charger, as my cell phone also. There is nothing worse than waking up in the morning and be found a lifeless baby in bed. We had quite a few babies in care where the alarm went off. So far, our babies naturally from this noisy alarm have become awake and could continue to breathe independently. False alarms we had previously. Last our currently living in care baby, however, was not monitored by itself, the alarm went off, as described, after 20 sec. Off. Immediately towards the baby, it lay motionless, cold and stiff in bed. It helped first, the baby in her arms "only" strong anzustubsen what a deep sigh triggered. Pooh. Just imagine what would have happened without this Angelcare system. It reacts very quickly to the alarm, you can save lives. My experience with the Angelcare AC 401 have been positive. It saves itself no life, but it responds reliably, in which it requests loudly help. Again and again Angelcare.
