Was looking for a webcam that runs with reliability even under Linux (Mint 16). Logitech dropped out why. This here is explicitly certified for Linux. The installation also ran perfectly on Linux and Win7. It is also reasonably securely fasten the folding foot on the upper edge of the monitor.

Application only Skyp. The picture quality is OK for the price, not that great but not bad either. Since I have a lamp on the desk and the room is otherwise well lit, was I do not care whether the Cam like many other integrated LEDs has to face illumination.

The sound is also OK, certainly no complaints from the "opposite" came.
