For 93 you really get decent image quality delivered, the white balance is either automatically or manually.
The Cam records videos with a maximum of 1080p and 30fps on that with 60fps, 720p is a lie, because only one image is shown twice! Nevertheless, the images are usually very sharp, at least in daylight.
With a GoPro Hero 3 BE can easily keep in terms of picture quality, as some comparative video show on YouTube.
At dusk or in poor light conditions you can see practically only black or if some light is still present just more, but here stands out a merkbares noise.
For "high-speed" sports and night owls the Cam is due to their only 30fps rather unsuitable.

A major advantage of the market leader here is the built-in display, it is relatively small, but big enough to make adjustments quickly check whether you film already or if need be to watch videos.
The menu itself is really easy to navigate with the keys of the action.
