Very sharp, unfortunately somewhat easy (for me). The knife must be dried quickly after each use. It sets very quickly to make small rust if you do not keep it dry all the time! The knife is not stainless! For the amateur cook, it is recommended if he has a grindstone and can handle it and it wont! Not suitable for professionals or cooking apprentices. I had the blade of the knife constantly wrapped in "kitchen roll" to keep it dry after work. Conclusion; for the price as a hobby cook or as a gift in the household, take. Mine emigrated soon in the kitchen drawer and my mother will be there to take the top spot among the "knife-cucumber". Sharpening then I accept. ;-)
