I already have several ... ST petrol chainsaws and was looking for a lightweight and emission-free MS to "optimize" firewood in a closed garage or in the attic to when needed. It comes again soon winter :-( The MAKITA is perfect for this purpose! I did otherwise for nearly 80, - purchased in the offer - which is just 1/3 of the smallest electric ST ...! The cuts UC3520A very vigorously without vibrate or to stutter, also goes by thicker logs like butter. The metal claw is firmly seated and holds the wood securely. For computer: 1.800 W = 2.4 PS ;-) Installation is easy, especially if you had ever been to do with MS. The manual could be better (Larger images, not at the same time in nearly a thousand languages) - but that does not really bother. One minor complaint is that the filling opening for the saw chain Haftöl too small for the ST ...- automatic filling system is - but even that is bleating at very high levels. I like now times no Haftöl on the fingers or on the workbench. Positives: The sight glass for oil level. The criticisms repeatedly expressed the high starting currents and rough cut I can not understand until now - our machines in EFH keep out any problems and the coarser chips are my only right when sweeping ;-) For life, oil consumption, etc. I can not say anything yet, please complete this later if necessary. My conclusion after a few dozen firewood-logs:
Perfect for this application, well made, light, quiet, away from comparably priced Far Eastern NoName products!
... And please: Even with a slight electric chainsaw working with chainsaw protection clothing, face shield and gloves! ;-)
