What does the device?
Delivery:. A compact and simple white box with the device, the battery, an earphone and a charging cable (USB) with adapter for the power outlet. There is also a (something to) compact manual, which can be a hurdle for inexperienced users.
Operating System: Android 4.0.4 preinstalled. While not the most current version and as for future updates there by Huawei also no statement (as far as I know), but the Android is quite natively without great operators Apps, branding etc.
Processing / feel: the smartphone is an excellent workmanship, here I would have far less expected in this price range. It has a pleasant back, which is also slightly corrugated plastic. Thus, it is quite comfortable to hold, and I (despite relatively large hands) can not fully operated with one hand it without change. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass, which is to be insensitive to scratches. Overall, the unit due to the size and weight is certainly not for everyone, people with small hands should perhaps rather resort to a 4-inch model.
CPU: The CPU is more of a budget solution, and I think just about ok for a device of this size. It can be quite fluid use, however, you realize at some more complex apps already lack power. In times of ever more demanding apps, it is perhaps not as future proof, but for significantly more rapid smartphone you have to put too much more to the table.
Display: if you AMOLED, Retina etc. usual, then comes a the display at first glance kontrastarm ago. Also, the black is not really black and the viewing angle is good, but not outstanding. One must be aware that you can "only" an LCD display has, which thanks to ILS also reasonably good looks from the side. Apart from this, the display a decent quality and the resolution I would describe as good, make out individual pixels is quite difficult.
Storage: Keep internally just under 1 GB of memory, which of course is exhausted very quickly if you have a few apps or mp3s together. The big distributing is here but the fact that the device accepts microSD card up to 32 GB and you can move most apps and data on this. Thus, one can expand its smartphone really inexpensive to memory.
Keys: the device has a button to turn on / off or sleep mode and a large button for the volume on the right side. For the operating system, there are below 3 illuminated touch keys that do not always react reliably. It would, at least for the middle button and feel free to be a different solution.
Signal Reception: whether GPS, Wi-Fi or mobile network, all signals are very well received and remained stable (of course, lies in the transmitted signal). I was surprised about the very good GPS module, the satellite fix was made quickly and the tracking is very precise and without dropouts (tested with runtastic).
Battery: 2000 mAh with almost very good sized and it seems to hold in practice what the data promise. As you initially but badly strained the device, but I can not give any objective assessment of maturities.
Camera: The camera provides the bottom line a decent performance. Devices Typically there are scene-dependent noise and the darker the scene, the worse the results. What bothers me a bit is that you appear to the screen size can not change. I'd prefer pictures in 3: make 3: 2 as in 4. Maybe I overlooked option. Video recordings go unfortunately only to 480p, that's a minus point.
Sound: DTS enabled a very amazing sound for music and games, but there is still a bug in the Volume Control (without DTS does not occur on this). With headphones, the G600 has a decent sound, I would say the price range accordingly.
I have determined not forget some. If you have questions which can do so in the comments.
