I use these speakers as studio monitors for the creation and (some) to the mix, coupled with the headphone output of a laptop. They have excellent spatial (the center is in the center), a fairly large neutrality without hump or hollow obvious to any frequency. Very good bass for such a small diameter whoofer, treble spun well enough without tension but with a tad of breath, very present mediums, both round and neutral (yes, really). In contrast, manufacturing to nuts: Food means in the membranes by a slight hum (whoofers) and a tiny hiss (tweeters). After returning to the seller, receiving a second pair with the same defect ... and worse! I dropped even if a service woodbrass gold. I finally put up with these defects, it must be said, agree only during creation. Not to be used anyway for those who work with precisely this kind of sound, in the subtle and delicate or who are fond of the field recording. Apart from these irritants through, these speakers have the essential quality of offer music quite fairly, that I could verify by comparing them with those made my stereo rather transparent itself (AR amp Cabasse speakers). And then, at that price, can we make the difficult? If? Really ... Edict of 13 April 2011: the above mentioned defects have degenerated this week latter, choking acute and excessive swelling of the lower medium.
