What I find particularly good:
- Disk space and memory are sufficient to generous, quad-core ensures brisk pace,
- Operation is totally easy and most self-explanatory! For example, the file manager to "Internal memory" and "SD card" (!) Distinction, whereas the Galaxys provide a before terms like "ext_SDCard" and "SDCard_0" and the like! Much is simpler than in my old Galaxy S Advance. The features like app management, alarm clock, etc. are well thought out.
- The UI interface, although visually a matter of taste, but logical, well-structured and offers many setting possibilities. (I do not have Launcher found that I would have liked as a replacement.)
- The camera takes great pictures in low light conditions. Clear will's grain, when the light is bad, that happens with simpler digicams also.
- Great, sharp display with natural colors!
- The battery lasts about 2-3 days with daily use for occasional surfing, get mail and phone calls.
- The functions for storage and data cleansing ("Phone Manager") are great!
- The format and weight is for a 5-inch model quite handy, I can still use the phone with one hand.
- The Huawei-Syncronisation means slimmer HiSuite works just fine - I could even think about backing up the data from my Galaxy and export to the Honor !!
What's not so good:
- Very little: manual you have to look. On hihonor.de there's a good German, but is likely to be more detailed.
- The installed music player is not so great, also lacks an equalizer. The DTS function can not make up for that. I draufgeladen my Rocket Player, which does a good job.
- Housing is actually very quickly greasy, the display quickly smeared with fingerprints. The only solution is a hard or soft case and possibly a screen protector, which is nothing for me but. I have good experience with Clean2Go done what with weekly application of the screen cleans well and does noticeably smoother.
All in all, I have the Honor 3c a smartphone that does not have to fear comparison with the more expensive brand name appliances and do not annoying in everyday life with quirks and failures. Hopefully it does long - let's see how it is after another 10 months ...
