For so little money a converter 1a. Have about my computer (MacBook) connected via optical cable (Toslink) to the stereo and the sound is much better than using the internal sound card. Full buy recommendation for those who are not dependent on a USB output (the Solisto has only one Toslink input).

The 5 star I do not forgive, because the LED on the device much too bright and some are played back slightly distorted (with very high output levels). But these are really just individual cases. In addition, this converter comes naturally sounding not at quality HiFi converter as of Musical Fidelity or Cambridge Audio zoom. However, the cost also at least five times or more.
