I chose the largest Severin device, with a generous cooking space of 30 liters. The equipment with all kinds of combination oven, grill and microwave convinced me. And the price was right.
Now, after more than a year, however, I am mostly disappointed. If I also have to say that there will probably be no better alternative if you want a compact device with this feature.
First of the positives: The device is simply beautiful! Since Severin has caught a good designer. But that's it.
That such a microwave oven is not exactly quiet, probably due to design. Also that the device should strongly heated and are relatively free, can not be avoided and should be internalized when in his kitchen looking for a corner. Of course, there is also no shelf.
Negative is me the following notice: The viewing area is so dark that in daylight inside hardly what can be seen, despite the interior lighting. Also the display with green digits is more pretty than useful, because the settings are no longer visible when it is very bright. Ever the Menüfuhrung with their symbols and abbreviations (eg A2 or G1) is not very understandable and logical, so that you can hardly do without constantly through the manual. And this manual could also explain something more clearly and better. It must also not be the way that after one year the creaking door. And it also does not come close to the hinge in order to lubricate it.
I have learned that the hot air function probably not reach the specified temperature. While there is allegedly up to 230 °, but most of the ready meals need about a quarter of the time longer than they need to in my regular oven at the same temperature. However, the microwave works well.
However, the actual hammer came now, as the interior lights failed. After a call at Severin I got the alternatives that I either after all, fairly heavy unit is to send it (to replace a bulb !!!), or I should just open the entire back wall and change the lamp yourself. However, I would lose thereby immediately all warranty claims. Since I did not feel like the former, I discovered that, surprisingly, the housing 2 different types of screws are used (impudence!), In addition to so-called Phillips Torx. Then it was still quite a fumbling until a new bulb was screwed. And I could see that it would have been easy, the lamp installed so that you can switch the light itself through a flap in the housing. In my opinion, a chicane of manufacturers, which ensures not only concerns Severin. But that one should speak out!
Bottom line, these devices are a good idea, only here in an outwardly beautiful, but inwardly loveless and shoddy execution. Perhaps one should think of the elderly, those poor readability of the display, complicated operation and especially the depot, but very heavy device for a light bulb should be a bigger nuisance than me sometimes more.
More than 2 stars because I can not give.
Love Engineers of Severin! That's even better!
