The IP7250 is now my 4th Canon printer. Besides, I have already bought for my family more. Even cameras I have already bought 2 and 6 SLRs Compact. So I'm quite a positive attitude towards Canon. I regret to say that the 7250 is my former 4500 clearly inferior as the current top model of A4 class in many ways. Much is due to the software.
1. Paper Feed: This is of course hardware, but why the hell the second paper feed was omitted? This mini-collection of photo formats is not a good substitute for it and the lower drawers is also annoying if you often change the paper worries. Too bad.
2. CD printing: When printing on CDs, I have to close first and then open it again to print the flap before each CD. In 4500 I could just shove the next CD. Why this is so, is beyond me. The printer does not matter, while the door is closed, what he could not do even with the door open. Really incomprehensible.
3. Duplex printing: I use the duplex very much and very often. It also works really well. Only, I can not perform any more rimless printer with duplex as opposed to 4500 with the 7250 suddenly. Why is no longer possible, is also not understandable. I do not think the color in borderless printing so much slower than drying with edge, even if I know that he does not use the pigment black in duplex, I do not understand what that has to do with the borderless printing.
4 Paper Selection: In 7250, there is no double-sided photo paper, which can be adjusted. All photo papers are only on one side. That I can not understand, unfortunately.
5. Driver: When I save the settings for the CD-printing as a default, it does not save the paper size, there will always be A4 saved and I have to repeatedly, individually with each CD, manually reset the CD tray.
6. Ink Cartridges: The usual: Smaller cartridges that cost more and get new chips and have a new format and therefore can not be combined with older Canon models. Unsurprisingly, however, should be mentioned.
Mostly just little things that have deteriorated as a result of the driver. Mir is absolutely incomprehensible and I hope Canon improved here by. The second paper feed also need to get, but is much less annoying than these small touches that really complicate many things considerably. Weird because Canon could ever significantly better.
