The case is assigned an IP on the network (which I advise you to switch to fixed IP via the router).

Software to install (supplied mini CD) on each PC wanting to contact the printer: TRENDnet USB Control Center Utility
> The software runs automatically when Windows starts up with activated auto-connect function, need to be addressed.

Note: I had to reinstall the driver for my printer after commissioning of the solution, otherwise, software related to the printer (and print) does not work!

My printer: Canon MG5150 (wasnt present on the official compatibility list, so I think many others can also be accepted).

THE BIGGEST: Function Mode allows NetUSB recognize a USB storage device (hard disk, USB key), however, it can not enjoy only one of the two functions at once (NetUSB Mode or Server Mode).
