The water filters is - I can tell just by feel - even after a few applications - somewhat slower downward by as the MAXTRA, but the result I can not complain. For tea, coffee, cooking and of course as clean drinking water and to extend for juices has become essential for me water filters. The purpose of fulfilling these filters optimally and after I now a filter (4 weeks in use) went through, I can no difference to the MAXTRA water filters make (apart from the aforementioned handling).
Short Summary:
The maxima filter is compatible with a few limitations to use, for BRITA jugs, however, does not fit into BRITA filter jugs as good as the original (MAXTRA). Combined with ClaroSwiss pitchers less problems should arise, but I'll buy myself why no new pot.
UPDATE [16.12.2011]
Long-term experience. I have now used up a handful of these filters and then recently re-used an original MAXTRA BRITA and finds: These ClaroSwiss one needs a tremendous amount time (because so little passes) - the filter change is also better at MAXTRA BRITA, because of the tab to pull out.
I changed after these findings mean rating of 4 in 3 stars. I would recommend or buy only conditionally - essential would be the price. As everyone must know yourself how far he enters restrictions in the handling and waiting time when they can use cheaper filter.
