Probably the best zoom lenses

for Nikon D-SLRs, maybe even ever. Lichtstark, f 2.8 is a real working aperture, produces outstanding imaging performance of 17 ... 35 mm focal length, still very good to 55 mm, from f5.6 almost medium format quality.

The picture quality is simply outstanding: with a Nikon D2Xs there are pictures of a resolution and quality as, with medium format cameras used to be, analogous possible. When reworking and the Order made with this lens images fall on simple, they are just great in resolution, color fringes, contrast and sharpness. Noteworthy also is the freedom from distortion, so a reworking with DxO Pro Standard or Elite unlike nearly all other objectives is not mandatory program in the workflow!

In this sense, the objective is really inexpensive in terms of "value for money".

This performance has logically come at a price, not only in euros. Weight and size are also "noteworthy", after half a day camera + lens on the wrist this becomes already noticeable.

Conclusion: Herrausragendes top lens, the price is definitely worth.
