First things first: the programmer works as it should. (Even under Windows 8.1) :-)
Under Windows 8.1 just do not work the update of the programmer himself!
If the programmer himself (under Win7 tested with FW1.21 for the programmer) can be updated after the programmer use under Windows 8.1.

The Basic programmer has a disadvantage compared to the Unicam Programmer Combo. The Unicam Combo Programmer can also be used for 2 smart cards to use in full size. So cut a map or with adapter (the Combo Unicam Programmer can also be used as an adapter) to work. The can of this, the Unicam Basic Programmer NOT! This can actually be used only as a programmer for the corresponding CAM's. (After one is always wiser)
